Dulwich College
Shanghai is an independent British international school providing a world-class
education to over 1300 international students from 38 countries.
Catering
for students aged 2 - 18 years old, the College follows an enhanced English National
Curriculum from Toddler to Year 13, offering the IGCSE in Years 10-11 and
the International Baccalaureate (IBDP) in Years 12 and 13. The College
is co-educational and non-denominational committed to the highest
standards in everything it does. At all ages, the curriculum is modified
and adapted to suit its Chinese location and diverse international student
body.
Music is
an integral part of the curriculum at the College from DUCKS through to Senior School
where singing and playing musical instruments is encouraged from an early
age.
The
College has established a strong choral tradition with its popular Mu Lan, Mei Lan Fang and
Zheng He choirs and has forged excellent links with the world famous Vienna
Boys' Choir. Now for the fifth year running, its choirs have been
invited to participate in the annual Vienna Boys' Choir summer
camp and workshops taking place in July 2010.
Dulwich
College Shanghai students participated in the ISCMS Forbidden Requiem performance in
February 2010 and will be hosting the fourth annual International Schools
Choral Music Society Festival during 16th - 20th February 2011.
